Class 2 Driver

Tech Cycle Ltd is looking for two (2) full-time class 2 truck drivers on a full time permanent positions with minimum 30 hours guaranteed in Northland region.

The employer may offer extra hours as required.

The applicant for the position of Class 2 -Truck Driver needs to hold an NZ class 2 Driver's License or equivalent if outside New Zealand we offer hourly wage rates from $26.00 to $32.00 depending upon experience.Tech Cycle Ltd is looking for two (2) full-time class 2 truck drivers on a full time permanent positions with minimum 30 hours guaranteed in Northland region.

The company is based in Northland Region but you may be driving outside of region for delivery purposes.

You will be required to work in shifts and weekends and must be fit to lift weights upto 25 KG to load / unload goods.Job Requirements : Have a good work ethicBe a team playerFlexible with work timingHave no criminal conviction and are willing to do a drug test if requiredBe punctual, reliable, have a can-do attitude and a willingness to get the job doneEnsure that the vehicle has current COF and other complianceEnsure accurate deliveries are made without damage and within the delivery timeframe, have technical ability as needs to unassembled parcels.The applicant needs to be medically fit for the job to lift weights upto 25 KG to load / unload the parcelsLoading, transporting and delivering items in a safe and timely mannerLoading and unloading items from vehiclesMaking regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safelyComplete all paperwork and file them including log books and proof of delivery and handed to the company.

Sorting and sequencing items for delivery

Delivering mail, parcels, documents and other items to customers' premises and mailboxes

Receiving orders for deliveries from customers

Collecting signatures and charges for cash-on-delivery orders

Issuing and collecting receipts for pick-up and delivery items

Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times.We will provide the training if required and will assist you to convert your overseas license to New Zealand license.
