The Role :

Are you a visionary leader ready to propel LagardèreAWPL's growth in New Zealand? We're seeking a dynamic Country Manager to spearhead our retail operations, drive innovation, and deliver unforgettable customer experiences.

What You’ll Do :

Drive Sales Growth : Execute our strategic vision, boost sales, and maximise profitability

Market Mastery : Develop targeted marketing campaigns, product launches, and in-store promotions to dominate the market

Build Strong Relationships : Foster partnerships with key stakeholders, including retail operators, distributors, and airport authorities

Operational Excellence : Ensure seamless operations, adherence to regulations, and company policies

Data-Driven Decisions : Analyse market trends, customer behaviours, and competitive activities to inform strategic choices

Lead High-Performing Teams : Cultivate a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement

Your Profile :

Proven Leader : Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in retail, FMCG, travel retail, or luxury goods

Strategic Thinker : Track record of driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and developing strategic partnerships

Exceptional Communicator : Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Data Whiz : Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting systems

Market Expert : Deep understanding of New Zealand's retail landscape and ability to craft market-specific strategies

Financial Acumen : Strong expertise in P&L management, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting

This role requires frequent travel to visit our retail sites, meet with stakeholders, and attend industry events, so you must be comfortable with a dynamic schedule.
