Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Mobile Speed Camera Operator (MSCO) will operate on a 24 / 7 rotational schedule, responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling of mobile platform-based enforcement systems (Trailers and Vehicles) in various locations across New Zealand.

ResponsibilitiesCarrying out comprehensive site risk evaluations before every enforcement session.Setting up and synchronizing mobile enforcement equipment in collaboration with the control center.Overseeing and operating camera and radar systems during enforcement activities.Recording and reporting any issues or incidents, including submitting maintenance reports complete with supporting evidence.Executing pre-shift and post-shift tasks, including thorough checks of observatory assets and systems.Keeping continuous communication with the control room throughout the shift.Upholding company protocols, including safe driving practices and handling public interactions with professionalism.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and proven experience operating vehicles in a professional capacity.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting data.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with the public and team members.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.Basic understanding of traffic laws and regulations in New Zealand.Proficiency in using technology and computer systems for data entry and reporting.Commitment to road safety and passion for reducing traffic-related injuries and fatalities.Competitive Salaries & Incentives.Access to EAP support programmes.Learning & Growth opportunities.Team Celebrations.
