You'll be preparing fresh, seasonal menu items—especially wood-fired pizzas—for our manuhiri (visitors), while contributing to a warm, welcoming experience that reflects Ngai Tahu values and manaakitanga.You'll work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen crew to deliver high-quality food in a relaxed, country-style setting.Reporting to the Head Chef, your responsibilities include : Preparing pizzas and other menu items using fresh, seasonal ingredientsSupporting food service for high-end guests in a relaxed, outdoor environmentMaintaining food safety and hygiene standardsContributing to our sustainability goals (carbon zero by 2040)Embracing Ngai Tahu values and cultural learning opportunitiesBenefits on OfferLiving wage+ KiwiSaverRegular work hours across a 7-day roster - shifts generally run between 8am - 4.30pmOccasional evening functions - especially during summer (up to 9.00pm finish)Uniform providedOn-the-job training and cultural developmentWork in a stunning natural location with a supportive teamBe part of a business proud of its inclusive culture and valuesSkills and Experience1+ years of kitchen experience (pizza-making experience a bonus!
