We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our Structural Heart division.

This role is based in Auckland, Waikato, Wellington, or Christchurch and will cover the New Zealand territory.

The role involves clinical and sales support for our Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVI) technology and Cardiac Surgery portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

Assist customers and clinical stakeholders with case planning, including assessing patient suitability.

Provide clinical case coverage.

Engage with customers and clinical stakeholders for post-case discussions and evaluations.

Deliver education to various stakeholders.

Manage sales pipeline and actively seek new business opportunities.

Collaborate with stakeholders and physicians within the account to generate awareness and referrals, including Interventionalists, Cardiologists, CV Surgeons, Valve Coordinators, Nurse Unit Managers, and General Cardiologists.

Assist in conducting customer training workshops, including echo workshops, from onboarding to continuous education to enhance physician skills.

Support local and national conferences and programs.

This role may require on-call and after-hours responsibilities, as well as some rural, interstate, and possibly international travel to fulfill duties and training requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary qualifications in biomedical, engineering, medical science, human movement, or related fields (e.g., Coronary Care Nursing, Cardiac Technician) are essential.

Experience in a similar TAVI role is highly advantageous; however, solid territory management (sales) experience in medical devices, pharma, or healthcare is also considered.

Cath lab experience within hospital networks is advantageous.

Good industry process understanding and the ability to discuss this convincingly with customers and experts.

Patient-centric, customer-focused, and empathetic.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate clinical details into relatable information.

Business acumen and analytical skills.

Proactive, resilient self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Flexibility for regional travel as required.
