The Opportunity

This company innovation is leading to a newly established position of Product Development Engineer to lead the development, testing and certification of a new range of specialist glass and associated hardware products (handrails, stand-offs, shoes, etc.), to complement the glass product range.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse new specialist glass and railing hardware system products
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings
• Certify the design and undertake product testing through finite element analysis
• Ensure product compliance with AS / NZS, ISO, and ASTM standards
• Create compliance and technical documentation
• Lead the development of a secure digital BIM portal for architects / designers
