As the Leisure Services Team Leader, you'll provide operational leadership across Council's leisure services facilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your operational expertise with your passion for sports, aquatics, recreation, and community wellbeing.Lead, coach and manage staff performance, training, recruitment and rostering.Oversee daily operations, safety compliance, maintenance and facility usage.Drive local marketing, community engagement and manage key internal / external relationships.To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with : Qualified, or commitment to undertake, First Aid Certificate, professional Pool Lifeguard qualification.Minimum of 2 years' experience in facilities management, leisure services or related field.Proven leadership experience, preferably in a customer-facing environment.Experience in marketing, promotions, or customer engagement campaigns.Strong background in leisure, wet and dry facilities.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.The salary range for this role is between $67,320 to $79,200 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.Outside of work benefits, we also offer : Free flu vaccinationsSubsidised skin-checks and eye testsOngoing training and professional developmentAnd much more!This is a 37.5 hour (0.9375 FTE) position based in Tokoroa, South Waikato.
