Contract Manager

Contract Manager

You will understand the network drivers of our client and execute with innovation, safety, quality, service and return on investment. You fully understand contract requirements, technical standards systems and processes to execute development of the forward works program and delivery of physical works alongside the Asset Manager. You are a primary point of contact with the client, key client personnel, internal and external subcontractors. You will be focused on leadership, collaboration and communication, KPI performance, risk management and mitigation, change management, and timely issue resolution.

You leadthe team that contributes to the successful and long-term objectives of the project whilst meeting key objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• BE or BSc qualification preferred but not essential. BE or BSc qualification or CPEng qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
• Greater than 10 years of experience in road maintenance, civil engineering, and project management preferred.
• In depth knowledge of New Zealand road maintenance standards and NZTA regulations.
• Extensive experience with Roading Networks Contracts and state highway maintenance.
• Customer Driven - Clearly understands the internal and external customer and is dedicated to meeting their expectations and requirements.
• Innovative and Strategic - Develops broad knowledge and perspectives to enable the pulling together of varying elements into a coherent strategic view.
• Change Agility - Foster creativity, managing individuals and teams, knowing how to move ideas through the organisation and executing change initiatives.
