Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual terms and conditions for assigned contracts.

This position typically works under limited supervision and direction.

Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.Remote candidates (preferably based on the East Coast) will be considered, with approximately once-a-month travel to the Cubic facility and / or customer sites.Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities : Negotiates and administers contracts for Cubic, including proposal planning, preparation and submission, negotiation, administration, and closeout.Tracks Cubic's performance against contract deliverables and impacts on cash receipts.Tracks customer obligations and deliverables against contract requirements, providing advice as necessary.Coordinates with Cubic's supply chain team to ensure necessary flowdowns are incorporated in agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.Coordinates with Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, and other personnel on proposal preparation and submission.Negotiates with customers, working directly with program leads and other stakeholders.Ensures compliance with departmental and company-wide contract policies and procedures.Keeps Contracts Department and relevant stakeholders informed of outstanding issues that may impact objectives.Complies with export license requirements and ensures shipments and technical data deliveries are completed in accordance with Cubic's Export Compliance Manual.Upon receipt of a signed contract, works with shared team to ensure accurate sales orders are in place.Ensures compliance with U.S. statutes and regulations, particularly the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.Negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements and similar agreements in support of assigned programs.Monitors the status of all data and hardware deliveries and advises management of delinquencies.Supports program team's engagement with shared services for timely contract billings and payments.Ensures that contract databases are updated accurately and timely.Coaches personnel in Program Management, Engineering, Business Development, Quality, and Material in contracting law, regulation, and process.Minimum Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Five (5)+ years of related experience.Strong customer-facing (sales) experience is required.Solid working knowledge of FTA forms is a plus.Experience in SaaS and / or international contracts is desirable.Proficient in the use of PC and associated software.Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, SharePoint, SAP, and PowerPoint.Possesses analytical skills necessary to organize, plan, execute, and administer contracts and agreements.Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to interact in sensitive and complex situations.Ability to prioritize projects and work under tight deadlines.Occasional domestic travel is required.The description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities, and requirements.
