About the role

Provide technical and people leadership while ensuring products are set up, produced and packed in accordance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), the production schedule, and relevant quality standards

What will you do?

Ensure adherence to safety procedures and PPE policies, report incidents and hazards, maintain a safe work area, take responsibility for health and safety, participate in SHE improvement activities, train others on safety protocols, and exemplify Aliaxis standards

Escalate out-of-spec products or process variations, perform and record quality checks, and follow SOPs and WIs, resolving issues or reporting them if unresolved within the guided timeline.

Work with team members to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.

Undertake cross-functional tasks as required.

Perform set-ups, start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns to company standards.

Maintain logbooks and data entry to set standards, ensure product quality meets specifications, troubleshoot and report quality concerns, and complete production sign-offs

Relieve 2IC role in absence of Shift Team leader

About you

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in your chosen plastics discipline

Previous people leadership experience desirable

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Intermediate computer skills

Forklift license required

A higher qualification in plastics manufacturing is desirable
