Our growing portfolio of products includes Evercode Whole Transcriptome, Evercode TCR, BCR, Gene Capture, and a software tool for data analysis.Headquartered in Seattle, Washington's vibrant South Lake Union district, Parse Biosciences recently opened a 34,000 square foot headquarters and state-of-the-art laboratory.THE POSITIONThe District Sales Manager, East, is a leadership role managing a team of Technical Sales Managers (TSM), Remote Account Managers (RAM), and Sales Development Representatives (SDR).

Parse offers the most scalable and flexible single cell sequencing solution on the market and researchers are looking for guidance on how to best leverage existing solutions to accelerate their biological discovery.

As a manager, you will hire, coach, and guide your team to meet and exceed role-based sales targets.

Your primary focus will be on team performance and development with an emphasis on driving revenue growth and stimulating new business.You will be expected to support the development of your team's sales strategy across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical markets while working closely with Field Application management and other Parse team members.

Co-traveling with your team will be required and a core focus as we work to develop a world class sales team.

Partnering with leadership, providing accurate forecasts, and communicating sales needs will be expected.

Candidates should have strong technical sales skills, the ability to develop and manage customer relationships, and a drive to overachieve.

Gaining a deep understanding of Parse's products and the market will be critical to success.TERRITORY AND TRAVELThe territory will span the entire east coast of the United States, from Wisconsin / Mississippi east.

The position will require travel approximately 50% of the time.IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILLManage activities of the TSM, RAM, and SDR team members to meet and overachieve role-based sales targetsMaintain a high level of employee satisfaction and develop team members to their fullest potentialProvide technical and sales coaching as neededBe a leader; motivate, coach, and advocate for your teamPartner with global Managers, Field Application Scientists, and Marketing to create a cross functional team to exceed our customers' expectationsActively drive process improvementPartner with the VP of Sales and global counterparts to drive strategies for growthCross-share successes with global counterpartsEvaluate employee performance and provide feedback on a regular basisWork with each individual functional group to develop strategies and tactics to address role-relevant goalsEstablish procedures to monitor results to achieve goalsMaintain CRM records and KPI reports while providing weekly forecastsFOR THIS POSITION, WE LOOK FORBachelor's degree in biology / genomics or a related field.

A Master's or PhD is a plus5+ years of relevant (RUO) sales experience in either Next Generation Sequencing, genomics, and / or single cell analysisMinimum of 2 years' experience directly managing a sales team, including accountability for team quotas and performanceExcellent communication skills - written and verbalResidency within the territory outlined above and ability and willingness to travel 50% of the timeParse Biosciences is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
