We are looking for an experienced, clinically excellent Registered Nurses for a permanent position working at our busy clinics at Hauraki Corner, Takapuna and Anne Street, Devonport.

Preferred key knowledge and skill areas :

  • Certified vaccinator
  • Cannulation
  • Wound care management
  • Triage
  • Smear taker
  • Have knowledge and previous experience in running nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma, and others.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to undertake training for any areas requiring certification.

    • We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join the nursing team at  Medplus . We are looking for a practice nurse who can fit easily into our large friendly team. You will be working with skilled clinical and administration colleagues and be supported by a dedicated medical centre leadership team.

    This is a permanent position working 32 hours per week across 4 days from Monday-Saturday.

    The roles will involve a 6.15pm finish one night per week and an occasional rotation of Saturday weekend shifts 08.45-1pm

    • Do you have what we are looking for?

  • A current New Zealand practicing certificate is essential.
  • Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
  • Ability to work with GPs in acute situations.
  • High standard of clinical performance and compassionate caring values
  • Accuracy with documentation
  • Tech savvy - computers and equipment do not phase you.
  • Happy, friendly personality
  • Reliability, initiative, and dependability
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
