Reporting to the Director of Business Development, responsible for converting new client leads into confirmed sales.
This includes managing the legal elements of the client onboarding process and seamless handover to internal client service teams.
Additionally, fostering and maintaining positive relationships with referrers to support the generation of new business.
Key duties and responsibilities : Liaise with prospective clients and referrers regarding the establishment of trust, foundation, and corporate structures.Draft and review trust, company, foundation, and other agreements generated during the entity establishment process, ensuring client requirements are met while safeguarding Southpac's interests.Participate in introductory calls with prospective clients and referrers, clearly and effectively communicating the key benefits of Southpac's products and jurisdictions.Proactively identify and develop new referrers, products, and jurisdictions, converting leads into long-term referrers through sustained engagement.Conduct market research to expand and strengthen the company's referrer network.Engage in marketing activities to enhance Southpac's profile, including writing high-quality content for online publication, contributing to videos and webinars, visiting clients and referrers, and attending and presenting at conferences.Identify and participate in relevant in-house and external training to maintain up-to-date knowledge and expertise.Support other business development initiatives as required, including assisting the Director of Business Development with specific projects, promotions, and strategic initiatives.About you : 1-2 years PQE, ideally seeking to transition in-houseCommercial law experience preferred but not essentialHighly organised, efficient, and detail-orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong IT proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new systemsProactive, client-focused, and professional with a warm approachCandidates must be eligible to live and work in New Zealand.
