Advisor, Business Services, Northern Region - Planning, Funding and OutcomesFull-Time permanent role based in AucklandPlay a key role in supporting business, government and ministerial servicing across the regionWork collaboratively with the northern, district and national teamsHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleAs an Advisor, Business Services in the Office of the Deputy Chief Executive, you'll play a key role in supporting business, government and ministerial servicing across the region.

This includes preparing high-quality advice and responses in support of the region's work programmes, and for Official Information Act requests, Parliamentary Questions, and ministerial briefings.

You'll work collaboratively with the northern district and national teams to ensure the required information is gathered and responses developed within the required timeframes.Key responsibilities include : Coordinating and drafting responses to OIAs, PQs, and ministerial requests.Providing high-quality advice, thought leadership, and problem analysis as part of briefings and reports.Building trust with district stakeholders and ministerial offices through reliable processes and communication.About the Team & ServiceThe Commissioning Business Services team is a small team located at Shea Terrace, Takapuna, Auckland.

It oversees the development and management of all Ministerial briefings including Official Information Act requests (OIAs) and Parliamentary Questions (PQs).The team's overall objective is to "smooth the path" for their regional colleagues across the Deputy Chief Executive's functions and work programme.

This includes Planning Funding Outcomes (PFO) and Hospital and Specialist Services (HSS) in the northern region.About youYou will have proven experience in advisory roles within government settings, including direct involvement in ministerial servicing.

You will have demonstrated capability in coordinating a diverse range of outputs such as Official Information Act (OIA) responses, Parliamentary Questions (PQs), and ministerial correspondence.From you : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly and effectively to varied audiences.Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather relevant information, develop insights, and provide high-quality advice and support.Recognised for your organisation skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering timely and accurate responses to competing demands.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
