We are seeking an Auckland-based, forward-thinking Supply Chain Manager with at least 5 years of leadership experience in a multinational supply chain environment, preferably with project management and planning experience.
Officially known as the 'Operational Customer Service (OCS) Planning Manager', reporting to the Head of OCS AU&NZ based in Australia, this role is responsible for leading the NZ SC team in integrated business planning, warehouse, and logistics service delivery to meet market demand efficiently and cost-effectively.
This role also ensures team responsibilities such as sales forecast collection, analysis, and order management align with market needs and IBP standard operating procedures.
A Day In The Life Of OCS Planning Manager
On a daily basis, you will :
- Lead NZ collaborative Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and ensure deployment at the market level with support from the IBP Manager AU & NZ;
- Identify and lead initiatives to optimize cost, service, and cash based on data and analytics;
- Act as a Business Partner to the commercial market MD and GM, serving as a single point of contact for operations;
- Prioritize service level agreement KPIs and ensure customer satisfaction across channels;
- Collaborate with the commercial team and lead continuous improvement projects, especially related to NZ regulatory changes and global program deployment;
- Drive budget and rolling forecast preparation according to regional strategy and financial targets;
- Report deviations, propose corrective measures, and lead NZ headcount and budget management;
Provide leadership and support to the NZ SC team to ensure development, engagement, and business continuity.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
5-10 years of operations and supply chain expertise in multinational FMCG or electronics companies;Leadership experience in complex, matrixed business environments;Experience representing supply chain at leadership levels and influencing decision-making;Proven experience in network optimization in NZ;Strong team player skills and stakeholder engagement;Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Finance;Excellent business acumen across supply chain, operations, finance, and regulatory areas;Solid IBP process and governance skills;Experience with strategic tools like OGSM, SDDS, or PDCA;High-level project management and analytics skills;Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and systems;Problem-solving skills and customer obsession;Supplier and customer relationship management skills.
