Mo tenei turanga mahi | The Opportunity :

This fixed-term fulltime position is responsible for teaching young learners the L2 Certificate in Foundation Studies – Uniform Services.

The opportunity here is to provide learners with an innovative, motivational, supportive and quality learning experience.

Classes are delivered on campus in the classroom and physical training, linked to the learning takes place outside.

Key to this role is to equip them with a range of learning and activities which will lead them to a career with the defence force.

Must haves

Tertiary qualified at level 4 or above

Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching experience

Passionate about developing and mentoring youth

Has confidence to develop engaging classroom activities

Wishes to take the first step into a career of being an academic

Desirables

New Zealand Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education Level 5 is preferred or willingness to work towards it or possess US 4098

Ex - defense force, police or similar background

Previous experience tutoring L2 Foundation Studies in New Zealand at a tertiary level preferred

A passionate about fitness, physically fit as you will be executing drills
