Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are seeking a Hospitality Skills Tutor to deliver our hospitality programmes and help out with our short taster courses for students from our local secondary schools.We are looking for a dynamic person who has experience in the hospitality industry to join our Service Industries tutor team based in our Tauranga campus.

You will work alongside our other Tutors on-site.The Service Industries Programmes are focused on providing basic hospitality skills and knowledge with modules including; barista skills, hygiene and food safety, food and beverage service skills, customer service skills and table service with opportunities to cater events and oversee work placements in local Cafes and restaurants.The ideal person will be able to : Relate to youth and want to make things happen for themProvide learning in an interesting, fun and relevant wayShare their passion for navigating pathways into the future for our studentsDrive and deliver achievement for our studentsBuild positive relationships with students and their whanauUse their expertise, skills and knowledge to pass on valuable industry skillsTo be successful in this role you will need : A genuine passion for helping youth achieve their educational goalsTo use MS Office 365 apps and our cloud-based apps to manage planning, attendance, results, and outcomesDevelop and collate Literacy and Numeracy portfolios with studentsDeliver sessions and assess student achievement against the New Zealand Qualification Framework including hospitality skill standardsAdult teaching experience and holding the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (NCALNE) (Level 5) would be an advantage, however professional development will be offeredThe EmployNZ team are a passionate bunch of people who work every day to make positive changes to the lives of the students we work alongside and they want their new colleagues to be the same!Our CompanyEmployNZ's motto 'He Taumata Oranga : We Change Lives' is interwoven into the culture of our organisation, and embedded into our practice by our kaimahi, management and executive.EmployNZ was established in 2000, led by people with a deep passion for creating positive change.
