    As a Senior Business Analyst - Security, you will be accountable for enabling and assisting your stakeholders to clarify, develop, and implement their business capability needs and objectives. You will work collaboratively with business and internal and external suppliers to identify viable, cost-effective enterprise solutions that contribute to Stats NZ's strategic direction.

    To do this, you will need to lead, coach and support other business analysts, and actively contribute to the improvement of business analysis and security.

    This role would suit someone who has :

  • Experience in, and a passion for, Cyber Security.
  • 10 years' experience using business analysis tools, techniques and methodologies - minimum five years at intermediate business analyst level.
  • Experience working as a project manager or team member
  • Professional certification and / or equivalent work experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer engagement skills
  • Ability to translate customer needs or requirements into practical initiatives to improve services or develop new services.
  • Experience drafting and getting policy approved.
