Our client is a leading health provider serving through a public hospital based in New Zealand's North Island.

Secondary Care Rural Hospital

This role is based in a 115 bed secondary care public sector hospital providing general medical and surgical services with tertiary support in Auckland.

The paediatric department manages children up to age 18 and has a level 2 neonatal unit.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be an integral part of a dedicated Paediatric team who are committed to delivering inpatient, outpatient, and community paediatric and neonatal services to the local population.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive paediatric care to all patients from birth to 16 years.Work closely with tertiary Specialists at Starship Hospital and local Maori health providers.Share a 1 : 6 acute roster.Offer your expertise within a level 2 Neonatal Unit.Supervise and mentor resident medical officersRequirements FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification in Paediatrics.Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Benefits Salary NZD 200000-400000 PAA generous relocation package.6 weeks annual leaveReimbursement of medical practice expensesCME allowance and study leave.Live in a safe community known for its outdoor facilities, golden beaches, and warm climate.Benefit from a culture that supports personal and professional development.
