An opportunity has opened up for a Safety Advisor / Coordinator in the Whangarei branch, servicing the Auckland and Whangarei locations.
You will support the HSEQ team by ensuring the effective implementation of the HSEQ management system to ensure the safe, reliable, and sustainable operation success across all NZ business units and regions.
You will be conducting field inspections to check in with teams in the field, processing incident reports and assisting with ACC claims and injury management.
You will providesupport to Management and Operations team with document completion as well as helping other personnel fulfil their HSEQ obligations.
This is initially a temporary role while a staff member is on leave.
There is potential for this to be extended or turn in to a permanent role for the right candidate as the business continues to expand.

The following technical skills and experience are needed for this role.
Prior experience in a HSEQ Management or related role requiredFull NZ Drivers licenceHighly proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to complete complex documentsDiploma level HSEQ qualification (highly desired but not essential)Experience in Incident Investigation, Risk, Auditing etcis highly desiredConfident communicator with internal and external stakeholdersA positive, can-do approach to getting things done!ABOUT US :
