Tō tūranga hou | Your new role As a Senior Project Manager , you’ll be joining the Industrial Service Line, leading critical infrastructure projects with a strong focus on the health sector. You’ll be responsible for :
- Lead the successful delivery of critical building services projects in operational environments ( hospitals or industrial facilities).
- Plan and manageplex project scopes, particularly involving mechanical, electrical, and controls (BMS) systems.
- Drive disruption and outage planning to minimise service interruptions during upgrades or replacements.
- Oversee themissioning, testing, and handover of upgraded systems with precision and care.
- Manage multiple stakeholders, including clinicians, engineers, contractors, and facility operators.
- Actively engage with clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Contribute to supply chain strategy, including procurement of consultants and contractors.
- Provide leadership across design development, through concept, detailed design, and construction documentation.
- Administer contracts and manage project financials, risk, and performance metrics.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.

10+ years’ experience in project delivery, ideally in healthcare, industrial, or building services environmentsA strong technical background—mechanical / electrical engineering or contractor-side experience preferredProven ability to lead projects in live operational settings with excellent risk and disruption planningDeep understanding of building services design, systems integration, and controls (BMS)Strong stakeholder management andmunication skillsFamiliarity with NZ contract types and contract administrationExperience in health sector projects is advantageous but not essential.A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring othersNgā hua ka whiwhi i a koe | What you'll get in return
