About the roleThis role is ideal for someone with a few years of full-stack experience under their belt, and who is passionate about delivering exceptional mobile and web experiences.

You will work closely with our existing engineers to bring features to life that are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with our design standards.This is a full-time, permanent position, based in our office in Palmerston North.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.Utilise your expertise in the full stack.

This would involve working with a high performance Laravel (PHP) API, a Flutter web and mobile app, and a data ingestion process using Node.js.Be given an idea, and translate that into reality for our customers with guidance and mentorship from the Senior Engineers.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability as quality is everyone's responsibilityDebug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying the root cause and implementing solutions.Contribute to software architecture and design discussions.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks, ensuring our tech stack remains modern and efficient.Mentor junior developers and assist with their professional development.You will haveSolid ability to be given a problem and take it from idea to delivery, with some senior level guidance.A few years of software development experience under your belt, with examples of the impact your contributions had.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures.Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and version control (Git).

Ability to use automated testing tools.Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile / Scrum.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferable.Why join Levno?
