The Opportunity :
On their behalf we are looking for an experienced technician, to join their skilled Airport Oaks team and perform mechanical trouble shooting, maintenance, commissioning, and repair services across their range of Honda motorbikes.

The Role :
Carry out diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance work across Honda motorcycles.
Service and maintain the demo fleet, including inspections, testing, and quality assurance.
Support dealer and customer enquiries, including technical advice
Build positive relationships with internal team, dealers and national service departments.
Assist the Honda Race Teams where needed with bike builds and development projects.
Local assembly of product distinctly for the NZ market.
Investigate product failures and assess repair viability.
Identify and report product quality issues or trends
Assist in parts return and with any recall and product update campaigns if required.
Conduct engine matching tests for product used in new applications.
Participate in field days, events, and dealer training sessions
Keep up to date with all Honda engine systems and best practice service techniques.
Maintain accurate records, including costings, parts used, etc.
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe workshop.

About You :
Proven hands-on experience working with motorcycles.
Trade qualified mechanic / technician
Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on technical ability
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Confident using Microsoft Office and workshop management systems
