Senior Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background, looking to take ownership of complex land development projects from concept through to delivery?

I am currently working with a established consultancy that has built a strong reputation across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. With in‑house expertise across engineering, surveying, and planning, this locally owned firm delivers a wide range of land development and infrastructure projects — from residential subdivisions through to large‑scale commercial and industrial developments.

As their Waikato presence continues to grow, they’re now seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join their close‑knit team and play a key role in driving project success and client relationships.

The Role

You’ll lead land development and civil engineering projects from feasibility through to construction and handover — coordinating internal teams, managing budgets, and ensuring quality outcomes for clients.

Key aspects of the role include :

• Managing project delivery across civil design, surveying, and planning disciplines
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progress
• Overseeing budgets, schedules, and project risk
• Providing technical input and quality assurance through the project lifecycle
• Contributing to proposals, repeat business, and ongoing client partnerships
