Auckland based role.
Full time (37.5 hours per week).

Shimadzu Oceania Pty Ltd has been an Australian and New Zealand subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation for over 30 years and is currently seeking a professional Account Manager to contribute to growth and customer support in the New Zealand region.
Responsibilities
The Account Manager position is responsible for a wide variety of sales related functions including sales of all assigned product lines, customer presentations, and face-to-face customer meetings.
Meet or exceed the New Zealand region sales budget.
Travel will be required within the New Zealand region.
Training will be provided on the company's extensive range of products.
The New Zealand region has a strong team and being an active contributor to the team is essential.
To promote and achieve budgeted sales for all Company products within the New Zealand region through planned and regular visits of all customers.
To assist regional efforts in making sales calls, maintaining good customer relationships, attend tradeshows and demonstrations through customer presentations.
Ability to manage a territory effectively, while addressing any customer issues or potential problems where support is needed.
Develop sales strategies and implement effectively to grow business; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
To operate cohesively with all other Company personnel to maximise the overall Company business.
Prepare Customer Proposals and Tender submissions in collaboration with the New Zealand team, as required, to maximise product and service sales.
Update the Company's Customer Database with relevant and current information.
Your Profile
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree required in science or engineering
Healthcare industry, scientific or laboratory experience is a plus
Sales experience preferred
Computer proficiency in MS Office and Teams.
Adaptability to using new programs to effectively manage business preferred
Deliver excellent customer service
Team minded individual with a positive attitude
