Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct feasibility assessments, site screening, and technical reviews for large-scale clean energy projects
  • Support grid connection documentation (AEMO / NSP submissions) and liaise with consultants on GPS studies
  • Design review and prepare bidding documents
  • Participate in technical reviews, stakeholder meetings, and internal strategy sessions
  • Help develop technical specifications and cost estimates during EPC tendering processes
  • Do follow ups on EPC Projects
  • Prepare purchase order for any estimates used during projects
  • Look up at all the technical drawings
  • Required to travel occasionally if needed to New Zealand

YOUR PROFILE

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Renewable, or Power Systems Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar PV and / or BESS development
  • Sound understanding of AEMO requirements, NER compliance, and Australian grid connection processes
  • Familiarity with grid studies, project design tools, and energy modelling software (pvDesign is a plus)
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
  • Willingness to grow within a fast-paced, technically driven team
