We have an ambitious growth strategy to sustainably grow our business and New Zealand\'s Manuka honey industry for the betterment of people and the planet.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Sales Manager, based in our Newmarket office, to unlock new channels and retailers, drive performance and support and educate our consumers in the Southeast Asia region.

As part of the wider APAC team you will lead the day-to-day relationship management of our SEA distribution partners while promoting, selling and securing orders from existing and prospective distributors.Key responsibilities for the roleManage and grow distributor relationships across SEA, ensuring sales targets and market expansion are achieved.Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans, collaborating with distributors to identify new retail opportunities.Coordinate between internal marketing teams and external partners to optimise in-market execution.Manage forecast accuracy, providing clear and well-organised numbers to internal teams to help ensure clear demand planning.Establish insights to support the annual sales strategy by monitoring competitor activities and performing market analysis.Create actionable market insights and collaborate well with internal teams on promotional activities to ensure maximum impact.Identify, evaluate, and select potential retailers and distributors.Foster strong relationships with key customers, ensuring timely fulfilment of commitments and effective resolution of any concerns that may arise.Promote our brand and product range by participating in trade shows, expanding our customer database.Identify customer training needs and understand how the various benefits of our product range may answer those needs.Design and deliver training—both in-person and online—to improve brand awareness, product knowledge, and drive sales.Collaborate with our relevant internal teams to ensure all registration and compliance requirements are met, promptly address non-compliance, and effectively implement regulatory changes as required.Relevant skills and experienceTertiary qualifications in relevant field5-7 years previous sales experience in consumer goods or a related industryDemonstrated ability to develop, implement, and execute annual sales plans.Strong analytical skills to monitor competitor activity and conduct market analysis to develop actionable insightsStrong stakeholder management and relationship building skillsProven ability to problem solve, negotiate and bring innovative ideas to the tableSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustryConsumer Services
