The Opportunity
Aligned with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, our mahi involves working with iwi, hapū, communities, and patients to promote self-determination and mana motuhake in health service design and delivery. Our goal is to achieve Māori health gains, equitable outcomes, and improved health benefits for Pasifika and high-needs communities. Improving Pacific health outcomes in Auckland is a key priority.
The HVAZ Coordinator will build relationships with Pacific community partners to promote positive health outcomes among church families and communities. The role involves working with the HVAZ Parish Community Nurse to coordinate clinical delivery, supporting church leaders and health committees, and connecting with health and wellbeing organisations to implement relevant programs.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact on whānau across Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.
