Experienced Electronics Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for an electronics engineer to take full ownership of key parts of our collar hardware. This isn’t a support role — you’ll be driving design decisions, solving complex problems in the field, and seeing your work through from concept to mass deployment.

You’ll work across everything from ultra‑low power design, RF optimisation, antenna tuning, and solar conversion, to battery systems, audio, and high‑voltage pulse circuits. It’s deeply technical and fast‑moving, the kind of environment where strong engineers thrive.

We want someone who’s excited to build for the real world, not just the lab. Someone who gets energy from turning tough constraints into smart solutions.

What your day could look like

• Rapidly design, develop, and test highly reliable electronics for world‑leading animal wearables and infrastructure.
• End‑to‑end electronic design ownership including component selection, analysis, simulation, schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and testing.
• Consistently innovate to improve reliability and hardware performance while minimizing cost to hit ambitious targets.
• Collaborate with firmware, advanced systems, mechanical, production and farm teams.
• Design for manufacturing, design for testing, and design for EMC.
• Develop and execute validation plans to verify all critical features.
• Root cause analysis of manufacturing and field returns, providing clinical feedback for design improvements.
