Rotorua Eye Clinic - Non Training Registrar

We are keen to hear from non-training Registrars seeking an opportunity starting 26 January 2026 for either a six or twelve-month post in Ophthalmology at Rotorua Eye Clinic.

The Rotorua Eye Clinic ( ) is a privately owned Ophthalmology clinic providing services to patients from Auckland, Taumaranui, Waikato, and the Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty. The clinic is contracted with Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand - Lakes to offer public services. You will receive a high level of support and training from consultants and senior medical staff.

The Lakes region offers a fantastic lifestyle with many attractions, including geothermal wonderlands, stunning lakes in summer, skiing nearby in Taupō during winter, beaches less than an hour away, and the redwoods for walks and mountain biking.
