Machinery Operator

We now have a6 month fixed-term full-time opportunityfor aVineyard Machinery Operator to join us

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day vineyard machinery addition to this it also includes vineyard maintenance work as and when required. You will also be playing a part of the yearly harvest. As a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual youll be a part of a team who are passionate about creating wines that youll want to share.

This role is based at Wither Hills in Marlborough. We are a Company with vineyards spread across the Wairau plains.

Some of the skills you will bring:

• A current full drivers license.
• Spraying experience or Growsafe
• A good level of physical fitness.
• Previous experience in a vineyard. You may have other skills which could be transferable to a vineyard situation.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Exposure to handling multiple deadlines.
• Positive attitude.

Activities youll be doing:

• Operating Tractor and machinery in vineyard operations (e.g. Spraying trimming mowing).
• General vineyard duties as required.
• Involved in the harvest operations.
• Irrigation maintenance and operation
