We are currently seeking applications for a permanent, full-time mathematics teacher to join our incredible secondary team.

ACG Parnell College is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Parnell, Auckland.

We cater for students in Y0-13, delivering the Cambridge Curriculums.

We require an experienced mathematics teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for students' individual needs.

The successful applicant will have a strength in teaching numeracy, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.

Key responsibilities

Teach secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment

Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development

Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents

Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities

Participate in wider school activities

Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

The ideal candidate will have

NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and / or MBA)

Experience in teaching mathematics curriculum to a high standard

Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents

Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
