Overview
Lifewise Health and Disability Service helps people lead an independent life in their own home and offers choices in support for people who live with a disability and have Individualised Funding.
As the Delivery Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of home-based support services throughout one operational area of central Auckland by a team of over 80 remote workers.
The role is a mixture of supervision, recruitment, quality management, health and safety, oversight of client welfare in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Who You Report To
You report to the Delivery Manager in the Health & Disability Service.

Approximately 80 Community Support Workers (CSWs).

What You're Responsible For
Assist the Delivery Manager with recruitment and ongoing support of CSWs and Support Coordinators.
Assist the Delivery Manager with the coordination, planning and facilitation of CSW and Support Coordinator inductions and training sessions.
Be an active member of the Quality Leadership Team in the Health and Disability service.
Leading, coaching and developing Community Support Workers including performance reviews and performance management when required.
Support the Support Coordination Team Leader to guide and oversee Support Coordinators assigned to your operational area to ensure optimal scheduling of tasks performed by CSWs.
Management of leave balances and schedules for assigned staff.
Supervise the front-line delivery of high-quality home-based support services in your operational area.
Supervise assigned quality initiatives involving CSWs or Support Coordinators.

Experience in a community health leadership role.
People management skills preferably with a remote workforce.
Proven problem-solving skills in a dynamic customer-focused business.
Understanding of current New Zealand Human Resources and Health and Safety legislation.
