What is the role

Mon‑Fri 40 hours a week; the role will be predominantly based out of our Christchurch office with visits to current and future client sites.

  • Must be a NZ Citizen or hold permanent residency
  • Must have a NZ Driver's License (Full or Restricted)

The main responsibility of the Account Executive for GVC NZ is to grow our regional footprint through strategic partnerships and customer acquisition. The role focuses on delivering Global Video Conferencing (GVC), unified communications, and AV solutions . Success requires strong account planning, relationship building, and client retention across both existing and new accounts.

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with large enterprise clients, identifying needs and recommending tailored technology solutions.
  • Drive new business through proactive engagement, proposal development, and solution presentations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to closing, across GVC, AV, and unified communications.
  • Maintain high service standards for existing accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conduct product demos, and deliver client training.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast sales, and participate in ongoing training and certification.
  • Who we are looking for

  • A self-starter with extensive knowledge of audio-visual, unified communications, and video signal management.
  • 3‑5 years’ experience with audio-visual, unified communications, and video signal management.
  • MS Teams and AV Certifications.
  • Established skill set in solution and relationship sales.
  • Demonstrated achievement of sales quota goals on a consistent basis.
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Competence and confidence in presenting.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS‑Office applications, CRM & technical systems.
