Senior Python Developer | Revolutionary AI | $150,000 - £170,000

We are working closely with one of the most revolutionary companies in New Zealand, they are transforming the way we look at workplace safety, with some very high tech AI.

They are going from strength to strength and are looking to add a few Senior Developers to their team.

They are happy to consider varying levels, as long as you can mess around with the architectural side of things too!

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building reliable, production‑grade systems in Python.
• Hands‑on with datastores and messaging systems : Postgres / SQL, Redis, and brokers like NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Solid grasp of networking and media protocols, including HTTP, WebSockets, and streaming fundamentals (RTSP / RTMP).
• Linux‑native development environment : comfortable with shell scripting, systemd, observability tooling, and performance profiling.
• Deep Docker expertise : optimised multi‑stage builds, minimal base images, resource constraints, and Docker Compose orchestration.
• CI / CD automation experience using tools like GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
