About the role

We’re looking for a motivated Team Leader who thrives on bringing out the best in people. This role oversees the warehouse operation for one of our key clients. You’ll be hands‑on in the warehouse each day, guiding and motivating your team to perform safely, efficiently, and with pride. You’ll balance meeting client service targets with developing your people, fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Leading your team to meet daily performance targets for our key client.
  • Coaching and mentoring your team to ensure everyone understands expectations and are supported to succeed.
  • Managing inventory control processing, including stocktakes.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks as required as well as KPI reporting.
  • Managing pick, pack, and check processes, ensuring that minimal errors are made.
  • Attending to customer queries and requests in a prompt manner.
  • Managing inwards goods processes effectively which includes the assessment and processing of returned goods.

This full‑time role is based in Hillsborough, Christchurch and is a morning shift 5 : 45am‑2 : 15pm, Monday to Friday.

About you

We are looking for someone motivated and experienced, and possesses the following :

  • Experience leading and managing a team within a warehousing / 3PL environment.
  • Leadership abilities and proven experience working to deadlines with the ability to manage priorities and tasks.
  • A genuine interest in people and their development.
  • A proactive, organised, and hands‑on approach with an eye for detail.
  • Current forklift Licence or willingness to obtain one.
  • NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
