Experienced Machine Operator Required – Waikanae (Hillside Work)

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team for ongoing hillside projects based in Waikanae. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in operating heavy machinery and a passion for quality workmanship.

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating excavators up to 30 tonnes on challenging hillside terrain. Your day-to-day tasks will involve landscaping, paving, and concrete works, working alongside a skilled crew to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators (up to 30t) efficiently and safely in a variety of environments, including steep and uneven hillside locations
• Perform landscaping duties including site preparation, grading, and shaping
• Assist with paving and concrete works as needed
• Maintain machinery and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to complete projects
