The position is fully remote and requires a strong commitment to quality, fast turnaround times, and the ability to adapt to feedback. A 20-second sample trial will be required to assess your editing style and suitability for the project. This is a full-time contract opportunity for a personal YouTube project, with the potential for long-term collaboration and performance-based growth.

Responsibilities

  • Edit daily 15-minute YouTube videos, closely matching the style of 'canadianostalgia'
  • Select and integrate simple B-roll footage to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement
  • Ensure all videos are delivered on schedule with a fast turnaround
  • Communicate effectively with the project owner to incorporate feedback and revisions
  • Maintain consistent video quality and adhere to project guidelines
  • Participate in a 20-second sample trial as part of the selection process

Skills And Requirements

  • Proven experience editing YouTube videos or similar online content
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to replicate specific editing styles and follow detailed instructions
