About the role
We have an opportunity for someone passionate about vocational education and training and changing people's lives as a Programme Manager.
Programme Managers oversee the delivery and coordinate logistics for our literacy and numeracy work-based training programmes.
We have programmes running across Auckland, Waikato, BOP, Wellington and Canterbury regions.
The role is full time, based in our Auckland office in Greenlane.
You will need to think on your feet, enjoy working in a fast-paced role and enjoy being part of an awesome team.
Lead the day-to-day delivery and organisation of our TEC-funded programmes :
WLN (Workplace Literacy and Numeracy) Training Programme
ILN (Intensive Literacy and Numeracy) Training Programme
Manage and support trainers in their roles
Drive programme delivery with confidence and expertise
Coordinate training schedules, resources, and logistics
About you
Proven ability to prioritise tasks so that deadlines are met and projects are managed effectively
An adult teaching and education qualification is preferred
Experience or knowledge of the New Zealand frameworks for Literacy and Numeracy for Adults (NZCALNE qualification and LNAAT experience are a real plus)
Experience with workplace-based training and knowledge of NZQA systems and processes
An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and learning approaches that meet the needs of Maori and Pacific people
The ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders
Tech savvy – high level MS Office skills – Teams, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willing to travel nationwide when required
