Te Puna Reo o Manga Tangaroa is a kaupapa Maori early learning centre grounded in aroha, whakapapa, and dedicated to uplifting all tamariki –especially tama ariki.

We're looking for a highly experienced centre manager to lead our puna with mana, dedication, and confidence.Te Hira – honouring each child's sacred worth and potentialMarama – growing collective knowledge and lightAbout the roleLead, mentor, and support kaiako and kaimahiEnsure compliance, licensing, and health & safety standardsBuild and sustain whanaungatanga with whanau, hapori, and agenciesManage budgets, operations, staffing, and rostersFoster continuous improvement and professional growth across the puna.About youProven experience as an ECE centre manager (essential – only experienced applicants please)Strong understanding of Te Whariki, Te Ara Maori, and tikanga MaoriExcellent communication, organisation, and leadership skillsA genuine commitment to tamariki, whanau, and kaupapa Maori.The salary for this position is set according to the relevant collective agreement and full pay parity scales for management roles.
