Administrator – Student Accommodation Halls

We are seeking an Administrator | Kaiwhakahaere to join the vibrant team at Carlaw Park Student Village in Parnell.
This is a key, front-of-house role and the "face" of accommodation for our diverse community of 697 residents. You will be vital in providing an outstanding customer experience, ensuring a safe and supportive living and learning environment for all.
You will thrive in this fast-paced position with a high variety of interactions. Your energy will come from helping and supporting our students, visitors, and key stakeholders while delivering essential operational support from our busy reception desk.
Front Facing Customer Care
Act as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors. This includes managing incoming calls, offering appropriate advice, proactively engaging with residents to build a supportive community, and facilitating tours for prospective students.
Administrative and Logistical Support
Provide comprehensive assistance, discussing payment options with students, managing key handling, overseeing general office supplies and mail, and acting as the key point of contact for contractors, cleaners, and other professional services.
Operational and Facilities Support
Assisting the Resident Manager with the effective day to day management of the property throughout the year (covering semester and conference accommodation). This includes supporting regular facility inspections for maintenance and cleaning quality assurance.
This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week). The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 , negotiable depending on skills and experience.
The usual hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 am – 4 : 30 pm, inclusive of an unpaid lunch period.

This role is ideal for an experienced Administrator or Receptionist with excellent communication skills who thrives in a dynamic environment where customer service is central to every operation.
