Job description4+ years of application development experience. Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React. Experience building APIs and backend components. Familiarity with Git and Agile / Scrum methodologies. Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Experience with Generative AI applications. Hands-on experience with Azure services (Compute, Database, AI). 6+ years of development experience in enterprise environments.
Overview
Contract Full Stack Developer role at Fonterra . This is a contract position until 31 July 2026. Start date : ASAP. The role focuses on building enterprise-grade Generative AI applications within Fonterra's Engineering Chapter, contributing to innovative AI solutions that support business transformation.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team working with cutting-edge technologies and have opportunities to influence architecture, customer experience design, and infrastructure decisions. The role leverages Fonterra’s partnerships with Microsoft and other leading vendors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Generative AI applications.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and customer experience design.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Chapter to support business transformation initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver value.
