About the Role

Aramex Wellington has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our high-performing Sales team.

This role is 100% focused on new business acquisition, identifying and securing customers across the Wellington region.

You'll play a key role in driving regional growth by building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored logistics solutions.

You'll work closely with Courier Franchisees, regional sales leaders, and operational teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations and aligns with Aramex's commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities include :

Identifying, engaging, and acquiring new business customers to drive regional revenue growth.

Achieving weekly sales targets through a strategic approach to new business development.

Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential clients.

Developing tailored courier and 3PL service solutions to meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses.

Collaborating with Courier Franchisees and internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.

Attending regional sales meetings, strategy sessions, and industry events to enhance market presence.

To be successful in this role :

Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within the logistics, courier, or transport industry.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Results-driven, with a passion for business growth and achieving sales targets.

Self-motivated with excellent planning, organisation, and time management abilities.

Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.

Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).

A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Wellington region.
