Senior Electronics Engineer x2 – Rugged Robotics and Mobility Systems

Role Summary
Lead the design and development of robust electronics for agricultural equipment, robotics, and mobility systems operating in harsh environments. Deliver durable, safe, and reliable hardware that integrates seamlessly with mechanical, firmware, and software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hardware design and optimisation for rugged, high-performance systems
- Prototype and validate electronics : power systems, sensors, motor control, and comms interfaces (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, RS485)
- Perform circuit analysis, simulation, PCB design, and thermal / EMC optimisation
- Translate system requirements into hardware specifications and collaborate cross-functionally
- Conduct advanced testing : HIL, environmental stress (temperature, vibration, humidity), EMC, and fault injection
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (RCM, CE, FCC)
- Support field trials and drive continuous improvement based on real-world performance
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Proven experience in rugged or safety-critical hardware design : agriculture, robotics, mobility, automotiveStrong analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and signal integrityExpertise with hardware design tools (Altium or similar) and simulation tools (MATLAB or similar)Advanced power electronics experience : DC-DC converters, thermal management, component selectionEmbedded hardware integration : I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, EthernetHardware testing and debugging : HIL, automated test systems, oscilloscopes, logic analyzersReliability engineering exposure : FMEA, MTBF, environmental testingEMC / EMI mitigation techniques and certification experienceExperience with BLDC systems, drivers, and control methods (FOC, PID)Please reach out to
