Surrounded by a team of experienced and supportive professionals, you will gain comprehensive experience in managing a range of cases and sexual health related conditions, including HIV.Auckland Sexual Health also provides gender affirming healthcare for transgender and non-binary clients.Our training programmeAuckland Sexual Health is an accredited training site for the RACP, Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine.

Presenting at journal clubs and participation in other departmental in-service meetings is expected as part of the job.

Two non-clinical half days are allocated for knowledge development and for completion of administrative work associated with clinical cases.The training program is a minimum two year full-time rotation although it is usually completed in three years depending on previous experience.You may also attend national and international conferences relevant for training.Medicine Registrar runs in the Auckland region are six months in length, following which you may rotate into a different run.
