Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer (Client Side) at NUVIA. Location : Hinton House, Birchwood Park, Risley. Work arrangement : Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office. Capacity to support office-based working arrangement of up to 5 days per week (blended 3 / 2 Office / WFH by agreement with manager). Arrangement : Permanent or Contract (Inside IR35).

NUVIA UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is fast growing with hybrid opportunities available up and down the country. We aim to create a multidisciplinary team to offer clients the best range of talent. This role involves support for the Sellafield Product & Residue Store (SPRS) Retreatment Plant project, providing design support to the supply chain and overseeing design change within the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and co-ordinating engineering and design activities.
• Developing and implementing engineering solutions for complex projects from concept through to design for manufacture and full project life cycle.
• Identifying design, statutory and regulatory requirements and contributing to risk assessments.
• Supporting resolution of conflicting design requirements.
• Producing technical reports, specifications and scoping calculations.
• Reviewing technical deliverables, including reports and drawings.
• Presenting engineering solutions to stakeholders and during design reviews.
• Delivering your scope of work to time and budget.
