The opportunity
We have a superb opportunity for an Engineer of 3-4 years’ of experience, ideally with some exposure to a manufacturing / production / heavy industrial environment to join our central engineering team. You will develop knowledge, understanding and experience of casting technology to add to your engineering skillset. Being the only continuous casting manufacturer of copper alloys in Australasia, we are considered experts at what we do.

Managing engineering projects efficiently and effectively, including managing change.
Assist with implementing and managing quality systems.
Respond to requests for data and analysis, reviewing and revising SOPs in conjunction with Operational leaders, designing processes, exploring opportunities to continuously improve.
Identify opportunities to improve plant and equipment, support continuous improvement projects and initiatives (PDCA Cycles).
Oversee the sourcing, installation, and commissioning of plant and machinery, ensuring required risk assessments and proper handover to operators are completed. Assist with maintaining data in production databases.
Optimise foundry processes by improving how people, machines, materials, and energy work together to deliver high-quality bronze castings.
