The Planning, Advisory and Support function provides strategic coordination, high-quality business support, and integrated planning across the Infrastructure & Delivery Group. It serves as a central hub for group-wide business process integrity - business planning, performance reporting, change and audit programme oversight and actions, asset planning, risk management, and executive advice and support, management of the group's interface with Democratic Services.
This role is integral in leading a newly established function within the Infrastructure & Delivery Group, designed to strengthen strategic capability and deliver consistent, high-quality business support across the group. This role is responsible for consolidating and maturing fragmented support functions into a centralised hub for planning, reporting, coordination, and strategic advisory. Operating directly under the CIO, the role plays a critical part in enabling group-wide performance, governance, and operational integration.
