Join one of NZ's leading wholesale providers and help grow national account partnerships in the Northland region.About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced and motivated Account Manager to manage a portfolio of key national customers operating within the Northland territory.This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role where you'll act as the go-to person for national account customers in the region.
You'll work closely with our local branch teams, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery, category development, and ongoing growth.You'll be part of a supportive national accounts team, but your primary focus will be managing accounts in your own backyard — helping Bidfood continue to be the preferred foodservice partner in Northland.What You'll Be DoingManaging and developing a portfolio of national account customers within NorthlandBuilding strong commercial relationships and ensuring exceptional customer serviceSupporting the delivery of agreed service levels, pricing, and product rangesWorking closely with branch operations and sales teams to coordinate seamless serviceIdentifying new product and category opportunities to grow account valueUsing reporting and financial insights to track account performance and identify opportunitiesPresenting regular account reviews and driving continuous improvementSupporting local engagement strategies and helping branches build capability in servicing key customersWhat We're Looking ForExperience in account management, territory sales, or business development (foodservice / FMCG a bonus)Strong communication and relationship-building skillsCommercially minded, with a focus on value for both the customer and the businessOrganised, self-motivated, and confident working across different teamsKnowledge of the local Northland market is a definite advantageWhat's in it for You?
