OverviewWe are looking for a new team member to join our refurbishment team as a Transport Engineer in our workshop in Hamilton.You will love getting stuck into a job, helping where you can and learning on the go, with at least 3 years on-the-job experience in Transport Engineering.To be successful in the role, you will come with a few years of experience working on heavy machinery, have a keen eye for detail, and know when something just isn't right.
We require someone who has completed their trade certification and holds (or can obtain) the relevant welding qualification necessary for the type of repairs we undertake.
Basic computer skills are a must, as communication and system input are important to work as a team.ResponsibilitiesLight to heavy engineering - this may include wheel bases, fitting fifth wheels, body removal and fitment, making of draw beams and repairing the likes of roof poles and bodies.
